Rusty Osborne, Billy Dewberry and Molly Stevens formed Homefire in the winter of 1988.  Fred Hooter and Dave Farr's arrival on the scene in 1989 was an important landmark in the progression of the band. Since that time and through the addition of other essential band members, they have established themselves as one of the premier bands in the Texas Hill Country and the San Antonio area.  Their unique blend of instrumentation, humor and music diversity never fails to entertain.
